The second half of June is going to be rough for my family, my job, and my sleep patterns… but it’s going to be awesome. Starting on the 19th I’ll be in Austin, TX for Tech Field Day 9 with an array of impressive vendors and experts from across various backgrounds and specialties.
It’s an intimidating group to be a part of and picking the brains of any of these delegates could lead to a mind melting overload. Check out the event site for the list of delegates. I’m honored to be a part of it. And of course, a big thanks to Mr. Foskett for inviting me to attend.
Here’s a list of who we’ll be meeting (in no particular order) to give you an idea of how packed this event it going to be.
From there I’ll be flying home for a day to see my daughter perform in the community theater’s performace of Beauty and the Beast, then off to Cisco Live in Orlando for (what I consider) the best large scale tech gathering of the year. There has been no better place to meet face to face with the people I know normally as a 48×48 pixel avatar having conversations 140 characters at a time. It’s an overwhelming week of new technology, products, methods, and more being jammed by the fistful up your nose.
And this year, there will be Transformers.
